Brief History of Hisense Australia:

Established in 2006, Hisense Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian based subsidiary of Hisense Company Ltd. headquartered in Qingdao, China.
Hisense Australia's objective is to gradually introduce the full range of Hisense products into the Australian market. This will include products such as televisions, refrigerators, mobile phones, computers, and air-conditioners.
As the Australian marketing arm of its China-based parent, Hisense Australia distributes products through major national Australian retailers as well as with smaller regional outlets.
Hisense Australia employs and manages an aggressive Australian Research and Development (R&D) effort that works in unison with the R&D engineering teams in Mainland China.
Hisense Australia Pty Ltd is already positioned to continue to grow its high-tech R&D facility to support a worldwide sales network and to promote and market the Hisense brand of high quality consumer electronic products throughout Australia. As a member of the Hisense Global Network of companies, Hisense Australia engages in international economic and technical cooperation with a wide range of global partners.



Overview of our Parent Company Hisense Co. Ltd

Hisense Co., Ltd specializes in consumer electronics, household appliances and information technology. The company’s main products are televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, computers, CDMA mobile phones, software, network devices and complex traffic systems (Beijing Olympics 2008).

Hisense has over 40 subsidiaries and exports its products to over 50 countries and regions. It has established subsidiaries in Australia, USA, Europe, Japan, Brazil, Indonesia and Hong Kong, with production bases in South Africa, and a trading office in Italy.

Hisense owns two publicly-traded companies: Hisense Electric and Hisense Kelon Electric listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen which has achieved over USD 6.7 billion in sales income in 2007.

In December 2006 and again in 2007, Boston Consulting Group voted Hisense in the “top 100 companies from rapidly developing economies that are changing the world”.
Hisense has held #1 market share in China’s domestic flat panel TV market for several years based on its dedication to after sales service achieved through the 60,000 after sales service centers and more than 300 sales offices throughout China. Its strategy has been based on stylishly designed products with premium after sales service.
